Heroes, The Best Show On TV:
Like all of us I have been an avid TV watcher since I was a little kid and throughout all of those years and "Thank God Its Friday" family shoes I've been waiting. Heroes is this show. A show to finally grab me where I have to watch the show every week and actually set time apart to see it.
Heroes by far is the best current television show and probably the best show in the last 10 years. The way it relates to the geeky comic book readers from times past. (Myself being one of them a few years back). The way it draws you in closer and closer every week introducing just enough to keep the story fresh and letting you have a taste of what is coming up next week. Another article compared this to X-men. Possible but Heroes has what X-Men doesn't, heart and character depth. With Sylar the antihero. Almost being a likable character who can change in a heartbeat when he's cutting open someone's skull to take their powers. And Peter the younger brother of political hopeful Nathan as Sylars counterpart and possible cause to the end of New York. This storyline in unpredictable yet still touches on issues that we all have.
The Cheerleader who's stepparents keep the real identity of her birth parents under wrap. The cop who's cheating wife is now pregnant by his friend. The younger brother always in his older brothers shadow. And of course the coworker who always has his head in the clouds hoping one day to become important and in Hiro's case to become what he's always dreamed; A Hero.
