Once upon a waning moon a fairy came to play
She danced upon the sticks and stones where my bones lay
Her music floated on the breeze of night
As she danced and sang with all her might
This blessed sound filled my soul

As my fairy whispered on the wind why she was sent
She told of all the sweetest words I have ever heard
While her voice flew on like the softest bird
Her tune carried on through the night sky
As we sang and danced to her lullaby
