Paris in the springtime usually evokes romantic visions of the Louvre, a field of burgeoning blossoms, and balmy evenings while sipping a burgundy under a moonlit sky. Hold that thought. Things have changed. The mafia will invade Paris soon with plans to steal the Mona Lisa. Maps of Paris are flooding Wars on Facebook, as mafia families gear up for the big heist.

Mafia can’t reveal names, but it’s no secret that a wealthy art collector is behind the plans to steal the Mona Lisa. Our client is generous with payoffs and rewards for those who follow the maps and persevere. Mafia Wars players need to complete just three chapters to gain the big payoff, but don’t be lulled into thinking it will be a cakewalk.

Mafia Wars players will have to work steady and allocate their energy and resources to complete the jobs and claim the big prize within the prescribed time limit. Step one requires adding one new mafia to the family. Whether you have 100 or 4000 members in your current mafia wars family, you will need to recruit one new mafia member to accept the Paris challenge.

There are various ways to add new Mafia Wars players. Zynga offers 10 hired players for 20 reward points, but there’s no need to go that route unless you want to add depth and power to your mafia family very quickly. A number of groups exist where you can invite others to your mafia and you can also find friend suggestions on your home page. If your mutual friends play Mafia Wars, you’ve found a recruit.

Once you’ve invited and accepted your new recruit, you’ll want to peruse some maps of the city of Paris.

Preparation is a big part of a successful heist, and mafia members must begin by collecting maps of Paris. Mafia Wars players can collect 5 maps in the Challenge Mission, Paris page every 24 hours.

Parisian maps have no intrinsic attack or defense value but are necessary items used to successfully complete the jobs in each of the three chapters. Players require a large stock of Parisian maps because maps are consumed as jobs are performed. Running out of maps is always a possible roadblock to completion of jobs, but if you need more Parisian maps, no need to worry.

In a pinch, 10 maps can be purchased from Marketplace with 14 reward points, but they’re also gained through doing jobs, robbing in other cities, and in fighting other clans. The amount of time a player has to devote to the game and the amount of energy for completion of jobs will factor
