Treatment for ADHDre.

What is ADHD?   There are various types of ADHD with different symptoms.    Three main kinds of ADHD,  ADD,  Attention Deficit Disorder without hyperactivity , ADHD inattentive .   All involve issues with paying attention.   Most well known one ADHD  with hyperactivity  difficulty in paying attention, impulse control.   Disorders that commonly come with ADHD are learning disorders,  depression, bipolar disorder.  Med term for coexisting conditions  comorbidity.

There is the fact that many physicians believe that ADHD is never outgrown and continues into adulthood.   The symptoms being difficulty in organizing,  follow through,  impusliveness

The treatments below are generally speaking for everybody with Attention Deficit Disorders, what ever type.

 There are  two ways to treat ADHD.  One is with prescription medicines.  The other  natural means,

.Ritalin and Concerta-long acting form iare mild central nervous system stimulant,s  It' essential to knowt high doses over  time can cause addiction.    This is the main reason it is a controlled substance.   Side effects besides becoming addicted are loss of appetite,  diarrhea, fever,  headache, insomnia,  worry,  runny nose, sore throat.  

.Ritalian may worsen agitation, anxiety.  Children , adults with any tic disorder, especially Tourettes should be extra careful with Ritalin because it can worsen these conditions.    Contraindications usual*  Blood pressure should be regularly monitored.  Known to stunt growth and blurred vision,

 Adderall  Generic Amphetamine.It is a stimulant.   Can cause addiction.. It can cause serious heart problems.   Side effects low mood,  dry mouth, heart attack,  serious rise in blood pressure,  hives, impotence, over stimulation,  tachycardia (fast heartbeat),  seizures,  gastrointestinal problems, stroke, weight loss.  Obviously this is a medication to be extra careful with.  Contraindications  include heart disease,  seizure disorder  allergic,  pregnant,  nursing,  

 Strattera rises norepinephrine. Generic Atomoxazine Non stimulating , non addicting.  Side effects.   re Children,  anoexia,  constipation,  cough,
