Especially in the realm of the internet, the question of whether Global Warming is real or a hoax is a touchy emotional argument.  But in reality there really isn’t an argument here. Anthropogenic Global Warming is a very real issue, and is something that needs to be dealt with quickly!

Interestingly, among the majority of climate scientists, the idea that global  warming as it stands today, is a completely natural phenomena unaffected by humans, is actually considered a fringe science.  Many people don’t realize this and many groups groups are content with hiding this fact..

As the word “fringe” suggests, the idea of it being a completely uncontrollable natural phenomena is on the fringe of overwhelmingly well established facts born from the extensive studies performed in the field of climatology over the past one hundred and fifty years.

Now as the last paragraph suggests not all scientists agree, and it wouldn’t be fair to say that they do.  Another thing that people don’t realize is that in order for something in the science world to be real, it does not have to be accepted by every living scientist in the world in one big harmonious shout! It would be wholly unreasonable to believe that they would.  After all, would you go to a foot doctor to diagnose heart disease? Of course not!  So why would you go to, say, an electrical engineer, which is a form of science to confirm data based on climate science, which is a completely unrelated field of science that an electrical engineer is likely only remotely familiar with at best?

A couple of good examples of not all scientists agreeing with something to be considered a scientific theory is the theory of evolution and the theory of relativity.  Neither of these are laws, and neither of them are fully accepted by the science community either.  But enough of the science community accepts both of those theory’s as being factual.  It’s the same principle as with global warming.

It's interesting, though, that even after all the so called “nature trick” and “decline” scandals that occurred in East Anglia this past year, that I’m currently sitting next to two reputable science magazines that are still upholding the AGW theory.  The issue month?  April and May 2010.  The magazines?  Scientific American and Discover magazine.

In fact the first article in Scientific American that
