Poetry: Lies

by Tony Teets

Created on: February 25, 2007   Last Updated: May 14, 2007

There once was a man called Stan,
He had an extremely cunning plan.
He was going to lie,
About eating a fly,
But his plan went down the pan.

He was going to eat it in secret,
But he was beginning to regret it.
He didn't like to lie,
but he didn't know why,
So he changed his name to yvette.
