Banana Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

This is a very delicious banana cake which I tasted at work! I work with 13 women and everyone likes to do some nice recipes from time to time. It is quite easy to do and if you want something sweet and easy to do you should try this out.

After I tasted this banana cake I asked for the recipe and here it goes friends

Ingredients:

3 bananas mashed

70gr butter melted

200g caster sugar

200gr self-raising flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 tablespoon oil

1 tsp vanilla extract

Juice from half an orange

Pinch of salt

Method:

1. Mash the bananas well

2. Mix the sugar with the melted butter in a pan

3. Mix the oil and the orange juice and add to the sugar and the butter mixture

4. Add the vanilla essence, salt and eggs, mix in and add the mashed bananas to it.

5. Lastly fold in the self raising flour and the baking powder.

6. Mix to a smooth batter well.

7. Place into a lined 3lb/1.5kg loaf tin.

8. Bake for 40/50 minutes gas mark 180º

Frosting - Ingredients

200gr cream cheese

300gr icing sugar

75gr unsalted butter

Half teaspoon vanilla essence

Frosting - Method

1. Mix all the ingredients together

2. Split the cake in half and spread half the mixture in the middle.

3. Spread the rest of the cream on top of the cooled of the banana cake.

So this is it friends. As you all can see it is quite easy and sounds tasty too. I hope someone out there will try this out and I will get some feedback back because there is nothing better than seeing people talk about your recipes and make you want to write more and more.
