I fall into a hole, others standing above looking down.
They listen but cannot hear,
they look but cannot see.
I frown, I cry, beating the walls, behind the walls
trying to make someone understand, someone extend a hand
the loneliness, the pain of silence.
My sentence is not justified.
I have done nothing to deserve this.
I never cheat, or lie
I can only be me for others to see.
So alone, so dark, so cold then finally
I see you walking over to me,
as it starts raining from above.
I am alone no more
as the rain falls like glitter on my soul.

Poetry: Dark & lonely
Dark and lonely
The day turns into night.
Dark and lonely
My life turns into fright.
Dark and lonely
My thoughts I can not
Dark is my soul;
Alone, in the night, I prowl.
I yearn, I ponder, I seek
For someone who is not weak.
Why is it so difficult
Surrounded By Darkness
Light is everywhere
As I turn and stare,
But I remain
Surrounded by darkness.
Colors are all around
I fall into a hole, others standing above looking down.
They listen but cannot hear,
they look but cannot see.
I frown,
Softly, sadly moonlight streams
On a dark, dark woods of dreams
To subtly show
A flickering glow
Like candles held by ghosts
