I wake up with some sense of joy to be grateful this morning,
Being alive it is a blessing you’re saved from the mourning;
Excluded from those consumed and fallen in the evening,
Lives ended to be part of the grand scene in the playing;
Back to my usual day of endless, hopeless storytelling,
It is the big price I have to pay for keeping on living;
Opening my laptop to get back to my articles in posting,
I will be back to the time consuming act of commenting;
Sometimes more elaborate and exhaustive than writing,
But the two must be kept in balance to be worth fulfilling;
For life without purpose in written words would be nothing,
An eternity of endless quest for meaning without existing.

Poetry: Good morning
by Bruno Lucas
Good morning to the people out there,
While I wait in this room of despair,
Good morning to the doctors talking outside,
Good morning Jamaica
Time is approaching sunshine and laughter
Leaving moonlight in disguise
When the day star arise
by Steven West
Woke up in the morning,
Feeling tired and depressed.
Put my clothes on backwards,
Looking anxious and stressed.

"A Night Owl's Morning"
Good morning!
I hear people call.
Good?
What's good?
It's far too early!
Where's my coffee?
My eyes are
by Shannon Lisa
You would meet me in the morning
When I would wake up
And what good mornings they were...
A lullaby like a sunset kissing
