The Christian Walk
So often we hear people talk.
Talk about this, talk about that, and talk about our walk.
Looking at others we often forget.
It is to our own mirror we must forever remind ourselves or soon we'll regret.
Others may claim to be.
But my dear, if there was never a change, how can it be?
Yet, still we must with remember with grace.
For immaturity it may be some have run a slothful race.
In humbleness we must shine forth the light.
Reflecting his grace, mercy and truth, know the battle which we fight.
Swiftly we must a soft answer uphold.
Knowing of a truth, it is for Him we must ever be bold.
The Christian walk, the Christian talk, many may proclaim.
But my friend, it is not the keeping of rules, regulations, and traditions, it is refraining your steps, knowing you represent His name.
My dear, my dearest, if on His name you proclaim, there is something you should know.
You must with grace, season your words, knowing for Him your life must glow.
Check your steps, look around, and see the smiling faces all around.
Dear Christian, the lost they are watching you, will you lead your friends and family, to that Holy Ground?
The Christian walk, it is simple, just keep your eyes on the cross.
Remember the one who for you have paid the full and final cost.
The keeping of the Sabbaths is of little value, if the Saviour does not in your heart fully reside.
Dear fellow, have you truly fully accepted the only one who died for you, with His arms open wide?
Look around my dear friend look all around.
Someones following in your footsteps, have you truly checked the path you daily pound...
