The internet has millions of websites filled with information on every subject you can imagine. The task of finding one to meet your needs is very challenging. It takes a lot of time and effort to sort through the listings. Here are some websites that have some very valuable information.
Maps.Google.com/maps
Trying to find a home or business you have never visited can be difficult. Google maps not only gives you a map of the address, but will give you a street view of the location when you click on the icon. Finding an address has never been so easy.

This is a great site to find the weather for your location. Type in your zip code and a seven day forecast will come up for your area. The site also has a time lapse radar to show you the impending rain that might be moving toward you.
Fastfood.com
Most of us have eaten fast food at some time or another. The fat and calorie content of these items will frighten you. Fastfood.com will give you a list of restaurants and the nutrition content of their items. You just might change your eating habits after viewing this information.
Alexa.com
There are thousands of websites dedicated to the subject you are looking for on any given day. Alexa gives a traffic ranking for every website and shows the trends for that site. A very valuable tool if you are trying to market your articles.
DMOZ.com
DMOZ is the ultimate open directory. You can find a website on every subject you can think of. There are hundreds of subdirectories for you to browse through and the listings seem endless.
Hulu.com
If you missed your favorite TV show than Hulu is the place to go. Thousands of TV shows are listed there for your viewing pleasure. You usually have to wait at least a week after the original airing for you to be able to view stream the show here.
Webmd.com
Webmd is the ultimate information source on health. You can find everything from diseases to nutrition. Hundreds of quality medical articles are right at your fingertips.
IMDB.com
IMDB is the authority on movies. A complete synopsis on every movie along with cast and crew member information is available here. They have the behind the scenes information, flubs, and user reviews also. If you are looking for any information related to movies, then IMDB is the site for you.
Nolo.com
If you are looking for legal forms then Nolo is the place for you. They have everything from bankruptcy to divorce forms. They also have articles covering legal advice on just about every topic.
Academicearth.org
Academicearth has over 1000 videos of academic courses from major universities all over the United States. The videos are free to download and cover all kinds of subjects from biology to literature. You don’t receive credit for the courses, but this is a great way to receive free professional lectures at no cost
