The response of organized labor to Tea Party protests

by Harvey Stelman

Created on: April 22, 2010   Last Updated: April 23, 2010

When two opposing forces meet head on, watch out!  When unions are the ones doing the responding, it means trouble. When the Tea Party is involved, let's get the rally over, it’s nap time. What has the Tea Party done to make them the "great satan" to the far left Progressive movement. http://hotair.com/archives/2010/02/10/fox-news-repor ts-on-union-attack-site-against-tea-parties/

The unions are playing the enforcement arm for the far left. It is impossible to separate the two, they need each other desperately. What have they done; see for yourself? http://suzyrice.com/2010/04/whackadooies-make-fools- of-themselves-trying-to-disrupt-boston-tea-party/ It doesn't stop there http://www.michigancapitolconfidential.com/12512 or http://www.stoptheaclu.com/2010/04/15/race-baiting-a t-philly-tea-party-anti-tea-party-democrats-no-bette r-than-fred-phelps/

I won’t boggle your mind with more proof, many reading this will choose not to believe it. That is what has been done to the American people today. We are in a great fight to CHANGE this country or to maintain what our founding fathers placed in the Constitution.

The Tea Party demonstrators look like they are attending an AARP meeting, yet the "main stream" media (with the exception of FOX NEWS CHANNEL) has often misled the public about them. If you have read the links placed above, please do not dismiss them quickly.

WE NEED THE TRUTH

In the 1920’s, 30’s, 40’s and 50’s unions were necessary to not only protect workers from harm, but to make sure they were paid a proper wage.  Unions today are quite different from what they started out to be. Having personally negotiated with unions in the 1970’s my eyes were opened, though it never went as far as violence.

In the past the thugs were always used by management, today it is the unions using that tactic.  It looks like young men beating up old men. Is this the type of behavior Americans want to see from their unions; I for one hope not.

In closing I must say; my father was a union member, he would not like this.
