We all love music, and the easiest way to process and conveniently listen is with an Apple iPod.  It's fun, small, trendy, and portable, with an unlimited capacity for great entertainment.  Tens of millions of people across the world listen to music on their trendy iPod devices every day, and now you can too with the terrific Apple iPod 30 GB.  However, there are several things you should know about the iPod, and several other questions to consider on the topic.  Should I buy the version with video capabilities?  What problems are there with the iPod, and more specifically, this particular Apple iPod 30 GB?  Is this the best iPod for me? 

There are two basic versions of the Apple iPod 30 GB device.  One has all the basic iPod features like excellent audio/stereo for music, audiobooks and podcasts.  The other Apple iPod 30 GB comes with video capabilities, along with the tremendous potential for movies, TV shows, and multimedia games.  However, this version of the iPod, even the one with video capabilities, still retains its main focus, emphasis and concentration on the audio and music Apple's terrific device is so well known for.  But if you want to watch movies and TV shows on your Apple iPod device, choose the version with video capabilities.  It sells for about $150 and up online. 

What problems are there with the iPod, and more specifically, this particular Apple iPod 30 GB?  Is this the best iPod for me?  Users report a variety of small problems with the Apple iPod 30 GB.  However, most of these issues are very small and easily solved by the knowledgeable Apple tech support staff can help you resolve most of the problems you have with your device.  I certainly think that the Apple iPod is the most reliable MP3 player currently available for interested media consumers. 

Is this the best iPod for me?  It all depends on how much space you need.  If you want to store multiple movies, TV shows, and lots of songs on your Apple iPod 30 GB video, definitely consider spending a little extra and upgrading to at least a Apple iPod 60 GB video or even to 90 or 120 GB.  However, if all you want are songs, then stick with the 30 GB, it can store around 6,000 average songs.  That's plenty of space for any music junkie.  Enjoy!
