I wonder what you were thinking
when the Heavenly Angel spoke to you
Informing you of Gods plan
and what he intended for you to do

To be chosen for this special gift
to carry the blessed child inside
After telling Joseph, did you doubt
ever, that he thought you lied?

With the ways of humans
did the nasty comments start
What faith you must have had
dealing with every cruel remark

Or did your and Josephs faith
help you turn a deaf ear
With the protection of the
Heavenly Angels always near

If asked to do it again
what would your choice be?
After finding out how he died
on the cross for you and me.
