WELCOME TO THE WORLD
Just because I'm 18 years old,
you kick me out the house alone,
you expect me to be able
to make it on my own.
No job experience, I didn't finish school
I have no trade mark skill.
What kind of employment
position do you think I could fill?
Who will buy my food, and
the expensive clothes I wear?
I don't have a car.
How will I get anywhere?
I don't have time for work,
I want to hang out with friends,
Come on mom and dad, do
you have some money you will lend?
I never took you serious
believing you'd never kick me out,
O.k. I need to start growing up
I understand what this is about.
I've learned my lesson, let me in
Please, just unlock the front door,
Come on, I'll admit, I'm not ready
for what life has in store.
