The benefits of lose weight quickly because when you do, you will be losing mostly water and if your diet plan is severe, muscle rather then fat. In those situations you really have not improved anything and quite possibly have made yourself even more unhealthy. Yes, you maybe able to fit into your skinny jeans or that slinky dress but it won’t last and will quickly come back.
To truly improve your life and weight loss and be prepared to take more time to lose it and to keep it off. To be willing to invest in changing your relationship with food and moving more. Exactly how your life will improve will vary from person to person.
It has been proven that weight loss can reverse or eliminate several health issues such as diabetes, hypertension and heart disease. It can also help with sleep apnea and fertility issues. Weight loss can also reduce high cholesterol levels. By being proactive and losing weight one can reduce or eliminate the medication they take. Saving health care costs and the possibility of side effects/ adverse reactions to medications.
Most individuals who lose weight experience an increase in their self esteem, becoming more confident and happier. This can lead to many improvements. Promotions at work, more social contacts or romance being rekindled with a spouse. You may experience an increase in energy, feeling less tired and depressed. This may allow you to take on new challenges at work, play with your children/grandchildren more actively, or you may decide to further your education.
Whether you want to admit it or not, you are treated differently because of your excess weight. The more extra weight you carry the less well you will be received by society in general and the people that you interact with daily. Like it or not we are judged by our appearance and weight is part of that, the stereotypes may not be true but they are still there.
Weight loss will allow you to move more freely, which in turn could encourage you to exercise more or be generally more active, which will help with your efforts to lose weight. Finding clothing can become easier and it may look better on you. It may also be more affordable.
Most people do not have as much weight to lose as I once did, I was at one time 524 pounds. Losing weight, a lot of weight, has dramatically improved my life as well as how much enjoyment and pleasure I get from it. I am healthier and fitter then I have ever been, I can actually participate in life and not just sit on the sidelines. The improvements for me, personally, are too numerous to list. Losing weight definitely improves one’s life.
