There are many negative effects to the home schooling process. Many children struggle with social development issues because they are home schooled. This is because they do not see enough diversity in the social circle in which they travel. Isolation from their peer group can cause them to be shy and afraid to have opinions that are outside the normal level of what their parents would expect. Home school can be good for many things but social development often is not completed properly in that environment.

It is also well documented that the home school environment does not allow for extracurricular activities. This means that the educational process is only done through traditional subject material. This can cause many problems because the student is not getting complete well-rounded education. The parents can get frustrated when they are trying to teach their child a subject of that the child does not understand very well. This means the child may grow to hate certain subject material because they only have one option as far as how to be taught material.

Many students become bored with the educational process in home schooling. This is because they do not change environments enough to remain interested. It is very important that children from a home school environment are asked if they want to continue learning in this wary every year. The intensity with which a student must study for their exams is very emotionally draining. Sometimes students will actually perform to a lower level than they're capable of because they must go through such a difficult exam process.

Some students may not be enjoying the educational process as much as they could be. However they are afraid to tell their parents that they would rather go to public school. This means that the relationship between parents and students can be strained in some situations. It is extremely important that a parent always listen to what the child needs and tries to make sure that they provide all of the child's independent needs.

It can be very difficult for parents to find enough time in the day to work and provide proper education for their children. Finding the balance is very necessary. However sometimes something has to give in order for everything to work out in the best interest of the entire family. Many times finding the proper routine during the home schooling experience can be the most difficult part of the process.
