The modern bride has left tradition behind and has took on a more challenging trend for the wedding industry. There are no boundaries to what a bride might wear. The trend for 2010 is high hemline, more cleavage shown and an embellishment of bold color given to the ensemble of the color scheme. The wedding gowns are not your usual white, off white, egg shell or beige. The dress has a color sash to back that would catch the eye of the guess as the bride swoon down the aisle. No more fluffy flare-out heavy lace and ruffle that weighs the gown down, making it harder for the bride to get it down the aisle without stumbling. The gowns are more toned down and cut to fit the shape of the bride and put them at a more eased state. Every designer has a short tiered dress in their collection letting the brides know that it is safe to show the legs. The modern day bride is not afraid of a little leg, showing that brings the dress to a more satisfying feature with the approval of everyone.
More brides are choosing off the shoulder, one shoulder or no shoulder. They are stepping into a world of no turning back, but keeping it respectful and simple. The brides are taking an even high risk for the bridesmaid; The bridesmaid dress was always suppose to just be simple while the bride was suppose to steal the show, "wrong." The bridesmaid are just as beautiful and daunting as the bride, with their splash of color accents and mini skirts that will rock the aisle as they walk down it. Designers are taking a risk by adding flowers to the gown and more tulle and to bare it all a beautiful head piece to die for. You are not only going to a beautiful wedding, but a fashion show that will be talked about for years if plan to distinction and satisfaction. No one wants an over the top too much wedding, but a wedding that is just right and leads to the satisfaction of the bride and groom.
The groom is not just wearing the basic white and basic black anymore. They are in the running just like the bride, with the colors. They are wearing longer suit coats and sharper and colorful ties. The suit is fitted to the groom body to show the sculpture of their body.
