Beast in the flesh left to fight for some form of
Cleft in the rhetoric let it be enough for me to change order
Brain disorder, vane name been born of
I’m not a saint, I’m a sinner, I’m a soldier
I sold you sadness neatly wrapped in a package
Shrink wrapped in a basket, you couldn’t wait to hold it
Who’s the hero, the heroine, the villain?
All of those limits have been so blurred it’s hard to fill in
This is my masterpiece, peaceful chaos
It’s war up inside of my soul, let’s have a séance
Character craps, put it all on the table
And exercise my ability to murder the stable
Russian roulette, I hear the cylinder spin
It whistles in a whisper before the memories end
Purgatory, it’s my nightly nightmare
My hot cup of coco on my paralyzed high chair.
