Response to Are the Recent Increase in Natural disasters the Judgment of God
I believe specifically, that many of the ones in America are selective judgments. I also do believe however, that not all natural disasters are necessarily the judgment of God.
I do believe that many of the recent natural disasters in the U.S. are the selective judgment of God. I say this because Perry Stone gave some very amazing examples of some of the things that are happening in America right now that are too bazaar to just simply be coincidence.
For example, he gives the following parallels between hurricane Katrina and Israel, indicating the possibility that the hurricane may have been selective judgment on America, and specifically on New Orleans for specific sins. Perry talks about how that a certain militant group were planning on doing a march in New Orleans just before the hurricane hit. He said that a certain militant group did go into a Catholic church and deliberately disrupted a mass they were having. Perry says he believes that this was one major reason for the storm since the group disrupted the most sacred thing in all the world a person can partake of.
Perry also says that Katrina struck the very same year that our nation made nine thousand Jews leave their homes in Gaza. We made them leave in August of that year. Katrina began forming on the ninth of a certain month in the Jewish calendar. The same day of the same year that Katrina started forming was the very day of the same year the Jews were forced to leave their homes in Gaza!
Just as the Jews were standing on roofs of their synagogues waiting to get out of Gaza, so people in New Orleans were having to stand on top of the roofs of their homes waiting to be rescued from the storm.
Jews were forced to leave their homes in buses. People were rescued from their homes by buses. Just as the Jews were required to live in places that were not their own home, so people from New Orleans were required to live in places that weren't their own home.
There are many other parallels he talks about from what happened with Katrina and how our nation treated the Jews around the same time. He also talks about how that lightening storms have taken place in California with no clouds in the sky! HE said this happened not long after that state recognized same gender marriage as acceptable.
Judgment of God or not, I believe many if not all of the most recent natural disasters such as the earthquakes in different parts of the world are pretribulation birth pangs, meaning that the rapture is close. So if you don't know Jesus, trust and ask Him to save you, and stay as close to Him as you can if you are saved so you'll stay prepared for His soon return.
