Letting go was not for me,

wrongs or rights endlessly.

Every wrong righted with glee,

that was who I was the righteous me.

And then a car entered my lane,

I swerved to avoid was the guy insane.

I looked and saw he's on the phone,

anger arose my actions my own.

I beeped the horn and shot the finger,

he paid no attention my anger lingered.

he sped fast cut others off too,

I chased him down we weren't through.

The breakdown lane was his next surprise,

as traffic backed up the stakes would rise.

I followed him not sure why,

wanting revenge, I wanted this guy.

If I caught him he was surely through,

This was a fact I truly knew.

I would beat him within an inch of life,

for he cut me off and caused me strife.

From the freeway and through a light,

chased him through red not losing sight.

and then he turned into hospital grounds,

I followed now slowing down.

His tires screeched and slid to a stop,

driver door opened with a pop.

He ran around the front of the car,

and pulled out a child limp in his arms.

He ran through the emergency doors,

my emotions reversed and i changed course.

I no longer boil at a minor slight,

maybe just maybe its wrong to be right.
