Having a bar soap in a dish by the shower is a necessity and I, till date, have not seen a single bathroom without this aspect. However, I have now seen many people switching to liquid soaps, including myself, solely because of their sweet alluring smell, creamy texture and all the things which are written on the back of its bottle promising beauty, protection and what not!
In this modern world, skin care has become very essential and important as everybody seems to be concerned about it. Keeping this in mind, one should have a mental analysis of the type of products he/she is using and decide which one is actually better. Moreover, one should also consider the effect of a particular product on economics and health.
Here a few factors which will facilitate the process of your analysis and help you make a better decision:
-Performance:
There are different sorts of moisturizers present in body washes seemingly which comparatively take a longer time to wash off which means you have to rinse your body more than a couple of times to get rid of the soapy slippery feeling. On the other hand, while using a bar soap, you can always tell guess how much is enough by the lather formed. Therefore, a 4-ounce bar will last longer than a body wash containing 12-ounce liquid.
-Price:
No matter how much you want to save up, you will always have to pay a little more when shopping for body washes. Whereas, bar soaps are usually cheaper when compared to the price of body wash and they are also long-lived.
-Packaging:
Mostly, body washes are seen being sold in adorned bottles with a dispensing device. On the contrary, bar soaps are seen in plain packages, without any container or a need of a dispensary device. More or less, they are sold in a wrapper made out of cardboard or plastic which is re-useable.
-Types:
Use of bar soaps since a very old time has made them gain popularity among the masses, thus, they are available in a larger variety including luxury products, cheap ones and more endurable handmade soaps.
-Use of Water:
You just can not deny the fact that bar soaps are definitely easier to use as they can always be rubbed with one hand while liquid soaps require the use of both your hands. You have to go through a complete process including opening the cap, turning it upside down, squeezing it out of the bottle, lowering down its lid again and then keeping it where you picked it from in order to use a body wash properly and efficiently. Thus, more water is used and wasted this way.
