Money is a resource that is used to access other resources. It is basically what the world runs on these days. Money has become so important that without it, you would not be able to get your basic needs such as food, water, clothing, shelter and utilities. Unfortunately though, money is a finite resource and unless you are Bill Gates or Donald Trump, you cannot afford to be squandering this valuable resource.
It is therefore important that we put money to its best use and maximize whatever we have. Being prudent would be much better than being regretful in the end on how we spent our money. Some people may give the excuse that they are earning a lot. Well if you end up spending more than you earn, then you will still end up broke. Look at some famous television personalities such as MC Hammer, Nicholas Cage and the late Michael Jackson . Despite earns millions of dollars through their careers, they were broke. Other examples were sports personalities Antoine Walker, Kenny Anderson and Derrick Coleman who had earned enough to live in luxury for the rest of their lives but ended up gambling it away or losing it to bad investments.
Having less worries
Being able to budget leaves you with ample cash to use for everyday expenses and at times with excess money to boot. This would certainly better than worrying about paying off your loans or watching out for the 'repo-man' who would be dropping by to confiscate your foreclosed property. Another thing less to worry about is the financial future of yourself and your family. If you take care of your money, it will take care of you when the time comes.
Peace of mind is something money cannot buy. It is however affected by the amount of money you have. If you are just used to having just enough money and saving nothing, then chances are you are living on the edge. An accident or fortuitous event would be enough to plunge you into bankruptcy. This would cause a lot of stress and emotional distress which could have been avoided altogether had a budget been established and adhered to.
Getting a positive image
Imagine what it would be like if you were labeled as someone who blew it all. Here you were given an opportunity to earn more than enough for the rest of your life, but didn't have the money to invest. It doesn't feel good to be you right? Or rather you were this celebrity or sports icon who earned tens of millions of dollars and now the casinos, banks and courts are after you. How would you feel? what would you
