Where Fairytales Begin

Lost hope, my dear.

I live in fear,

That we will never meet.

A life I see,

In front of me.

I won't admit defeat.

I know your there,

But where? But where?

I'm searching for those eyes.

The ones I dream,

Through light, it seems,

A once upon a time.

Will night and day,

Which fade to grey,

Be brightened by your smile?

And make it all,

So colourful,

If only for a while.

So how long do,

I wait for you,

How strong am I to be?

Don't miss this chance,

Just one last dance,

With fate and destiny.

Impatience grows,

And loneliness shows,

That time is running out.

It must be soon,

Oh silver moon,

Please rescue me from doubt.

To love is lost,

Through summers frost,

I'm wiser than my words.

But plea's to you,

And words untrue,

Will all remain unheard.

Still cheeks of rose,

To love oppose,

My somewhat childish ways.

When will i learn,

To wait my turn,

And fall not for the praise.

White dress and veil,

For weak and frail,

They always seem to win.

Yet headstrong me,

So sure is she,

Will fairytale begin?
