Will Obama's policies fail?

Barack Obama entered the office of President of the United States in early 2009. The Liberals, minorities, and people who voted for him because it seemed like the "cool" thing to do were ecstatic. He had talked about hope and change for a long time, and now it was finally coming. And hey, we finally had a black president!

Conservatives were scared, mostly because of his political stance and his long history of associating with Communists and Socialists. Problem is, no one knew exactly what he was going to do. We still are not entirely sure.

The one thing we do know is almost everything of what he has already passed will be devastating for America, and anything else he will push on America will be too.

Shortly after Obama took office, he signed the bank bailout and stimulus bills after much opposition. These programs cost trillions of dollars, and Mr. Obama promised that unemployment would not pass 8% if this bill was passed.

A year later, the unemployment sits at around 10%, and some areas like Flint, Michigan have over 25% unemployment. This massive spending has been wasted on things like liberal think tanks and other special interest programs, not helping the actual economy. Some of the programs that millions of dollars were spent on claim to have "saved" three or four jobs.

Sorry, but millions in tax dollars to save a few jobs at a polling institute is a waste. The economy is still in serious trouble, even though Obama promised us that he would fix it. What we needed instead was tax cuts, then companies could have hired more people, but instead we wasted money.

Health care reform was his next major malfunction. He promised America a reform in the health insurance system. Debates raged for months, and eventually a bill that contained many of the things he wanted was passed. The main problem is, we have no idea what is in the thing.

It is around 27,000 pages long, making it larger than most college students' reading lists for their entire college career, including any graduate work they may ever consider. Normal Americans have no idea what is in the bill, and Congress has no idea either.

Nancy Pelosi made the remark that they would have to pass the bill so everyone could see all the great things that were in it. Come to find out, the bill canceled Congress's federal health insurance. Oops. They had no idea that that caveat was coming, what else will it bring that we never expected?

Also, many large companies have already shown that they will lose serious money
