A lover with hopes for happy romance
He stood by the crowd for a strike of chance
Promising moon, sky and stars at a glance
Another call for the voting citizens to dance
Words and voice commanding submission
Strike of the magic wand for a demonstration
A magician does a trick with a political ambition
Spell to silence and mesmerize the whole nation
With term served and everything come to end
From suspended animation the nation awakened
Better life worsened the citizens couldn’t comprehend
Yet another national election a moment to pretend
So if you want for all the miseries to be left outside
Better vote for me (he told) to renew another spell to confide
As a politician-magician I will tell you my own side
The magic spell works out for a time until it subsides
