Poetry: Summer

by Larry Terry

Created on: April 10, 2010

FUN TIMES

From a day at the beach, to  steaks on the grill;

On the 4th of July, fireworks gave us thrills.

Summer reminds me, of the wonderful times;

Memories of family gatherings, is always on my mind.

Some days were hot, but the weather was good;

If I could go back, I surely would.

Nothing like a barbecue, in the back yard;

It was relaxing, even when life was hard.
