Poetry: December

by ElliotPhaber

Created on: April 09, 2010   Last Updated: April 12, 2010

They say that December is the month to be remembered.

Oh boy, do I agree with that more than you can ever know.

Snow drops upon the ground from above in the sky;

Snowmen litter the playgrounds of joyful little children.

Lives slow down to gaze around their white world.

Love blooms under the mistletoe on the door frames.

I can't explain what happens during December,

But winter strikes the world at its peak at this time

And it changes us forever - every December of each year.
