Survivor Heroes vs Villains April 8 2010: What happened and who got voted off Survivor week 8

Survivor week 8 began with a bang and promised to be one of the best of the season maybe. As soon as rewards challenge began which was for nothing more than a pizza party, the wheels were set in motion for backstabbing, lies, deceit, and maybe Russell “the toothless troll” Hantz getting screwed over as he screwed others in the past. Right away you knew that if you are a big fan this was a n episode to have recorded.

The villains were ready to go at each other right away as they anticipated the merge so much they took their camp apart. The merge didn’t happen of course and that got them looking at each other with snide little smirks. Then Coach took over for what he is worth and decided they had to win the bowling challenge for pizza and left their two weakest players on the sidelines meaning that when the immunity challenge comes later they had no choice but go in weak.

Coach showed regret for having voted against his alliance with Boston Rob right away and proved one more time that his self given name the “Dragon Slayer” should have maybe been something like…oh maybe…”Dumbass.” Sandra told Russell what Coach said even though she never head it - her lie happened to match reality without her knowing and just as she suspected Russell bit it. However none of that nattered heading into the immunity challenge.

When going through a mud pit obstacle immunity challenge the Heroes Tribe made it look so easy it was as if they were on a whole different plane of competition. Courtney sucked enough and hurt herself just a little adding in a wrinkle that made Danielle want her out of the game. So for those following all of this without a score card, at the end of the immunity challenge the tribes stood here:

* Heroes - 4 straight challenge wins and team immunity intact
* Russell Hantz wants coach gone because Coach tried to think and he wants to make the Heroes think there is an all-girl-alliance.
* Danielle wants Courtney gone
 * Coach wants Russell gone but will vote out Courtney
* Sandra proves to be useless at everything but telling lies
* Parvati wants Coach to go home
*Jeri wants Russell to go home
* The villains tell each other so many lies they don’t even know what their alliance is
* Russell looks like an even more animated Hobbit on crack fighting with Danielle and pissing her off
* The villains without Boston Rob are a total mess

As the villains got ready to go to tribal council nobody could seem to make up their mind who was to be voted for. Jeff Probst pointed out at tribal council that with Boston Rob who was dominating the challenges gone and someone like - oh say - Courtney who is basically useless unless you need someone to bitch and like bag of bones, that the tribe shot themselves in the foot and set themselves up to fail. He was correct in doing so because as they seemed to almost catch on they proved nothing more than they are collectively as dumb as a bag of hammers.

As the ballots were cast it seemed like for the first time all season there was going to be a real surprise. Right away a ballot went for Courtney and then one for Coach. Suddenly it was 3 votes Courtney and 3 votes Coach with one vote left - and the first member of the Survivor jury and survivor voted off in week 7 was coach..
