Sex and the City is was a hit show about writer Carrie Bradshaw and her three friends: Charlotte York, Miranda Hobbs and Samantha Jones. Carrie came to a New York City to find two things: labels and love. The movie continues where the show ended. It's been five years since the last show episode and many things have changed in that time. Carrie and Big are buying an apartment and suddenly decide that it might be the time for them to get married. Everything is just perfect in that mutual agreement, not sealed with a diamond ring but with a big closet. Yea, that's right, closet. The apartment is beautiful but it only has one big flaw – tiny wardrobe closet. So instead of diamond Big promises to fix the closet for Carrie. How romantic! In a new closet Carrie leaves her new Christian Loubuotin shoes and starts wedding preparations.
The real problems start when Miranda, who is in the middle of divorce for Steve's adultery, says to Big that they were crazy for destroying everything with a marriage. Big starts to think more about the wedding that has already topped his expectations. Since he was married twice before he wanted to have a small private ceremony. But in the world of fashion that is not really an option. Carries Vogue editor Enid puts Carrie on a front page and exposes her wedding to the public. On the Vogue shooting Carrie finds her perfect dress by Vivianne Westwood. A guest number rises from 20 to 200 and instead of City Hall the wedding takes place at Library. No wonder Big freaked out and called Carrie all day, but busy with final details about the ceremony that's about to happen in a few hours Carrie doesn't respond to his calls. Sitting in a car Big changes his mind and leaves, but then again on the way back he remembers the reasons he decided to get married in a first place so he turns the car to get back. Unfortunately for Big that option is no longer available and at the center of the street Carrie, obviously humiliated, yells at Big and leaves away from him.
Carrie is in depressed mood but Samantha knows how to get the best of the situation. Since she also has some problems in a relationship with a young Smith, she decides that the best would be to go in Mexico, on Carrie and Big's not meant to be honeymoon. So the four girls go away to catch some Mexican sun but Carrie doesn't leave her room first couple of days. Finally when she gets back the real fun begins.
Mexico came and gone, but Carrie's problems didn't. Boxes of designer clothes
