Commentary: Adam Carolla's derogatory remarks on the Philippines, Manny Pacquiao and the Filipino people

Recently, a comedian named, Adam Carolla, blurted out unsavory comments on Pacquiao, the Filipino People and Philippines itself; and for that, he has won the ire of Filipinos and Filipino-Americans. Here’s my own say on his comments:

Adam Carolla: "Because he's from the Philippines, because he's praying to chicken bones, you got to respect him for his belief system? No you don't! He's a fuc*in idiot!"

We’ll this statement is in response to Pacquiao’s refusal to undergo Floyd Mayweather’s demand for random blood testing should they fight. His refusal caused a rift between boxing fans and even Pacman’s nuthuggers too. And if I need to spell it out some more, that loss is the only one he has had and it would have been a near immaculate “win streak” in the US. Since then, Manny has been explicit about this and Mayweather banked on this to get out of a sure beating and made it appear that Pacquiao has been taking performance enhancing drugs.

Absurd as it may sound, some Americans will never get to fathom this Filipino trait, especially if it meant turning down a sure $40 million dollar payday. Manny’s point is, why does he have to subject himself to some random blood testing which is not really something required by the Nevada State Athletic Commission anyway and he never failed any single test required by the commission in his entire career?

Some critics retorted that if he has nothing to hide, why not comply and
