Poetry: On writing poems

by E.A. Paul

Created on: April 08, 2010

Poems written well will always tell.

The stories behind the scenes.

For it's behind the scenes that count.

There must be a way,

There must be a song.

Written for me? Oh well.

Take me to your abode.

Take me there today.

For a poem written well, will always tell.

Tell me a story, tell it today.

Is this what I hear? Maybe not.

I hear a bird, he sings out a poem.

I hear the trees, they whisper a poem.

For it's only in nature,

Only in nature that we will hear a poem.
