Tailgating is one of those things you do before the game, but never admit to your co-workers! It has become almost a "cult type" activity. Having a fun and entertaining things to do while "Grilling & Chilling" with all the other fans heightens the experience! Having games to play is not hard to do!
Ladderball
This game is really fun no matter what your doing. Ladderball is a great alternative to the traditional outdoor game like Horseshoes, Bocce Ball, Yard Darts or the countless other yard games. Ladderball can be played on grass, sand, concrete, carpet, indoors or outside. IT is light weight and portable enough to bring to any tailgate party, barbecue, picnic, campground or day at the beach!
Irish Skittles
This traditional and fun Irish game. It’s played using wooden pins called “throwers” to knock other wooden pins called “standers” out of a 5 ft. diameter skittle ring. This is a fun and easy and made to be played on concrete. It’s easy to set up and portable enough to bring to any gathering!
Kubb
KUBB pronounced "Koob" is a cross between bocce ball and horseshoes but with variations. Kubb has sometimes been referred to as A Viking Chess Game. Kubb can be played on grass, sand or even snow. It is a fun game to bring to any tailgate party, BBQ, picnic, campground or summer camp!
Quarters
Yes. Quarters. The moronic game you played with your frat buddies on an all night drinking binge. You remember, your skills got better the drunker you got? Yes, that one. Quarters can be played on a table or on the roof of a car! All you need in some short plastic cups, a few participants and a LOT of beer. You bounce the quarter off the table and if the quarter lands in the cup you get to hand to someone and they have to drink it. EASY!
Chuck-O Bean Bag Tossing Game
Sometimes also called "cornhole", this classic yard game is fun for everyone. Players chuck the bean bag and score three points for making it in the hole and one point for making it on the board. The team that scores the most points wins! This game is good for ALL ages from children to adults.
No matter what games and activities you plan for your tailgating parties, remember to party sensibly no matter where you are!
