The fact that parenting trends have changed tremendously over the years isn't that surprising considering just how much society, technology and the younger generation's intelligence has evolved along with the transformations which have occurred. Women's liberation brought about great adjustments to the role that women once played within both the social order and the family unit. Divorce was no longer a dirty word, single parent families become widespread and a new breed of children were born from a new generation that embraced freedom, equality and amazing technological advances which forever changed the face of communication, business and life in general. This has changed tremendously with women now having equal rights and liberty to live life as they choose; but despite their new found freedom most women still carry the burden of raising and disciplining their offspring with fathers sometimes assisting. On the other hand there are also many dads that do step up to the paternal plate. What are the differences between mom and dad parenting techniques? Men on the other hand play a secondary but vitally important role in the development and nurturing of children, albeit different to that of the mother. The fact that men and women are wired differently means that there are many differences in their parenting techniques also.
Keeping in mind that
