How the fashion world discriminates against big women

I am a plus size woman and I get really annoyed when you go into some stores and all you can find is size 8, 10 and 12 is the biggest. As soon as you walk through the door. The assistant who has just got out of nappys, is wearing to much makeup and has a big wad of chewwing gum in her gob, turns and stares at you as if you're a freak. Then you see another girl going over to the counter and they start giggling. So I leave the store before I lose my temper. What Right have they got to treat you like your a monster just because you have a few more pounds than you should.

Now then I go into the outsize store and thats even worse. I am 36 not 56 and most of the clothes in there a granny would'nt be seen dead in. Catalogue clothes are a nightmare...they try to make you feel even worse about yourself because you order the size that you are and you can't even do the item up. So you order a size bigger and then all your friends and family say..oh dear I think you need to lose weight if your in that size. You try to explain that its catalogue sizes, but to no avail.
What are your choices? Look for a catalogue that is for plus size women. There are a few out there that are reasonable, and have some more fashionable items. Or lose weight. go on another diet just to fit in with the IN CROWD....well its up too you or is it..you could be being forced into doing exactly that so you can be another stick insect buying the latest fashions.
