My words tell the untold
Pain and pleasure unfold
Of high walls surrounded by war
To the eerie crows caw
I follow the path of those before
Poets of real or folklore
Beauty of the mind
Shown for others to find
Unconditional love
Sweeter than the sound of a dove
Hate, ugly and dark
In our hearts it truly hits the mark
I am a poet
