You fake a smile to get past the,
"What's wrong?"
The "Want to talk?"
And the long lectures you've heard
a million times before.
In fear of spilling your guts to a stranger?
Afraid of being misunderstood?
Or scared that someone might actually care?
But what if someone does?
Would you let them in,
Give them a chance, and take a risk?
Or would you keep everything bottled up,
And keep on believing that nobody cares
Like you have the past fifteen years.
You're the quiet shy type.
The one who knows the answers but never
dares to raise just one finger.
You blush at every little thing.
Face so red, burning up.
Like the metal on a stove,
When it's been heated for too long.
The inspiration you get is from
Not only the life you live,
But the lives of those around you
And the lyrics to your favorite song.

THAT 2 LETTER WORD
I do not say "hi"
I am afraid
I am shy
I do not know why
Then I think, this is why I'm here

My alter ego sheds me
in a pulse-filled car,
drenching me in senses;
I pretend I am my age,
a huntress
whose world is

Cursed
If words could flow from my unfurling tongue
as freely and easily as they stream down
my arm, wrist and fingertips,
