Poetry: Angry tears

by Bernice Dennis

Created on: April 06, 2010

They ran down my cheeks like coals of fire.

The thing that made me cry was not suppose to be my tears, but it's the tears of that one inside of me.

Who is the one in me that make me so angry?

I don’t know you- What is he that drive the force of my angry tears.

Come out! Come out! Whoever you are?

I wish for joyful tears to drown out the tears of anger.

I feel them on my skin; I taste them in my mouth.

Someone please stop the  these tears of anger.
