It's all you had to say...
So much anger, so much anguish.
You watched me, you saw my reaction.
Why didn't you say so?
It changed my life...and didn't do much for you either.

From the time I was small
I thought no, not me
I will never, not ever
Be treated like debris
As time shuffled on
Years passed
When I was a child and there was ice cream to be had
It would cheer me up if I was sad
Who ate all the ice cream
Love is responsibly alive.
It thrives in me, and in you,
not in me you say to me today,
but I say, know love too.
