Poetry: A blank page

by jfoxfiregirl

Created on: April 05, 2010

Here I sit,

A blank page before me.

Absent of content,

Pregnant with possibility.

Where do I look,

What shall inspire?

The song of a bird,

The tread of a tire?

Should it be long,

Should it be short?

Based on truth,

Or the truth distort?

Shall I sing

The praise of romance?

Shall I portray

The beauty of a dance?

Oh, What shall I say?

Where do I start?

This blank page before me,

And nothing to impart!
