Here I sit,
A blank page before me.
Absent of content,
Pregnant with possibility.
Where do I look,
What shall inspire?
The song of a bird,
The tread of a tire?
Should it be long,
Should it be short?
Based on truth,
Or the truth distort?
Shall I sing
The praise of romance?
Shall I portray
The beauty of a dance?
Oh, What shall I say?
Where do I start?
This blank page before me,
And nothing to impart!
