The cover is beautiful.
A picture of a happy girl, a smile on her face.
It is me.
I settle in to discover my life.
I open the book, anticipation making my heart race.
The page is blank.
I turn the pages to find nothing there.
Where? Where is my story?
Where is my life?
I gaze at my open front door, wondering.
I close the book, stand and walk through the door.
My story isn't on the blank page.
It is out there.
I will find it.
