In Matthew Chapter 24 the Disciples ask the Son what will be the sign of his coming and of the end of the age?

The very first thing he says to them is “Take heed that no one deceives you, for many will come in my name, saying ‘I am the Christ’ and will deceive many.”

This means that there will be someone or something/s who will appear to be ‘Jesus Christ himself at his second coming’ because the Bible describes him in  Revelation 17: 8 & 11 as ‘the Beast [monster person] who was [alive], is not [alive] yet who will be present [alive]’, which is exactly what will be true of the genuine Son of God when he does return and this is in direct imitation of the Son.

I don’t know about anyone else, but for me when he said ‘there will be many who will come in his name’, I thought this meant that there was going to be a whole lot of men running around each claiming to be the Christ giving us a plethora of choice and the question of how to choose.

However, in the context of other verses, especially Revelation 3:14 7 15, the False Prophet (Beast from the Land) tells people to make images of the Antichrist (Beast from the Sea) which he has been granted the power to give these Images breath, which means they will be alive; and that these Images shall both speak and cause anyone who refuses to worship any of them to be put to death.

You only need to refuse to worship any one of these images of the one who is the Antichrist, to be in danger of your life, although there will be so many images of him that it will be very difficult to avoid them! Which is why the Son says elsewhere, if someone tells you the Christ [a living breathing image] is the in courtyard or the desert, or anywhere else, do not go there. (Matthew 24:25-26)

I’m not exactly what form this will take or how it will be possible, but I believe the Bible, which says it clearly enough. I initially thought it would involve moving pictures of the Image, such as in movies or on You Tube, but how would these appear in places such as outside in the courtyard or in the desert, where you would have to go to see him? So it would seem that these Images are physically capable of moving around freely, as well as speaking.

It is in our nature that we want ‘our’ being or belongings to outdo others in beauty and exclusivity, so I don’t doubt that it will come to the point where sculptors and artists will be in great demand to make
