Poetry: The pain of letting you go

by Michelle Lea

Created on: April 05, 2010

When that last tear drop falls...

there will be no-one left she wants to call.

As the pain of letting go intensifies...

there is no-one to hear her cries.

She understands that moving forward...

is the best doctorine for her.

But she screams on the inside with fear...

she doesn't know what might be near.

So she waits

   afraid of making a mistake

So she falters

to the agony of the unknown

The future that awaits...

When that last tear drop falls...

there will be on-one left that she wants to call.
