No more will I break
and allow you to watch me fall
enjoy when I bleed the pieces of glass
No more will I cry
for things that are not important
and allow you to laugh at every tear
No more will I fall before you
and see you step on the prints I leave
No more will you control me
and hold me down
to where i cannot breathe underwater

Poetry: No more
I laughed my final laugh at your expense,
And pushed your final suitcase through the door,
You gave no "sorry" and no recompense,
Perhaps you've had a bit too much sun.
No more fantasy, your pursuit is done.
Give no more thought to the distant past.
no more
i want no more of happiness
unless it is barbed
and stays in my mouth
it takes you on the crest
like a wave
and dashes
No more are the oceans
that once before were turquoise blue
For man in all his carelessness
has left a brownish hue.
No more
by Ethel Smith

and so will the fear
of knowing whether
there is a heaven or hell.
