I don many hats and aspire to be
The master of all the sides there are to me
I am a mother whose greatest joy
Is a bright and talented teenage boy
I am a cook, with a flair for fine cuisine
My table setting fit for the pages of a magazine
I am a maid, ready with mop in hand
To wash debris from the floor, where ever it may land
I am a nurse, tending to mishaps and scares
Dressing minor cuts and scrapes with tender loving care
I am a chauffeur, too many destinations to name them all
When it comes to providing a taxi I'm always on call
I am an accountant, juggling numbers to make ends meet
Some days it's not an easy job, it's really quite a feat
I am a poet, penning verse and fancy prose
The inspiration for my next piece, nobody ever knows
