Poetry: Dear God

by Mallory Hoffman

Created on: April 04, 2010

You know me. You know my ins and outs; you know my most private secrets and desires. You constantly see my imperfections, my relentless flaws. And yet you smile down upon me like a father would do his small child. I continue to look for you: in the stars, in the clouds, in the air that I breathe as I walk through the grounds I call my home. Plenty of times I've cursed you, cried to you and wondered what else there was other then this life that I'm living in. I do believe that you will only ever be the being that knows me completely. You make me feel special more then what I was suppose to be; I'm bound to you like I am no other...and for that I'm utterly stuck on you.
