This is just a scene I have from my novel Look up Love. I call this scene: Learning.

The scent of him would always linger deep within my mind: as it passed through my nostrils embedding itself deep within my memory bank. At that very moment I wouldn't care for any other man then him and I wondered to myself did that make me weak? Clearly I was now at a disadvantage my mind conceded at the simple thought as I continued on walking through the darkening corridor.
I paused as I heard a noise behind me. Turning my head I saw nothing; only simple silhouettes bouncing off the walls making the images look like a candle was flickering. Frowning, I turned back around and continue on towards my dorm room. Alexandria would be up pacing the room in a frantic mind frame as she waited for my return with the news. Nothing proved note worthy at the latest findings with the Oracle as she only told me what I already knew.
I heard the noise again making me stop: my heart raced as my mind told me to walk faster. The scent of strawberries in champagne reached my senses giving me the impression that I was being followed by one of my favorite Professors. Professor Rose was going to eat me alive. I was lucky so far to make it into the school way past curfew without being caught. This wouldn't do any good on my track record I was assured. My pulse calmed as another familiar scent took flight in my senses making me groan out in want as my mouth watered. My core burned with the acquainted feeling I now got when it came to him. I closed my eyes as I stopped my walking and waited for her to reach me. I knew he followed pursuit and was waiting for the best opportunity to strike. Let her games begin, my mind retorted sharply.
