-The Titanomachy-
It is said, with great thundering threat
That the day shall come, when a manic Man, Earth shall forget
His concrete will fall and his road will crumble
Like a prehistoric creature, his body,
The only Godly feature, will lay humble
In a rock, in the sea or in the tree’s amber
That is when Mother Nature shall endlessly pamper
Her veins of oil and three-eyed fish
Her limbs of bruised, trampled skin and Her follicles of erosion
Her lungs She’ll flush of carcinogenic smoke
The bodies of Her poached children will rise and provoke
Her feet She’ll wash of empty emotion
In Her postponed anger, Man will be killed with Her fatal potion
Man gave Her back as shrivelled, pungent prune
For once where Her rivers ran, now lays his dune
Drained from Her oil, drained from Her crude
Her once rich blood, no longer seen from the moon
A race of monsters with cataclysmic mood
Who hid Her trees with concrete claws
In his bank of blood, an investment of flaws
Unleash Pandora! Leave her, let her fight
To save dear Earth from eternal night
With lightning bolt and thunder strike
With waves of salt, it serves Man right
For he made ice crack, and he made forests burn
For he blew his chemical poison in all his might
Yet in vicious volcanic tube lay Her turn
Her bitter-sweet catastrophe, a revolting sight
With Her heaven empty, Her hell full
She allowed Man to stay against Her will
To drink Her thirsty flesh, eat Her sacred cells
But now, a war She must fulfil
She’ll bandage Her wounds and close Her wells
Unleash Pandora! Leave her, let her fight
To save dear Earth from eternal night
Give Earth a kiss, as you’d give you mother
For She scorns you and your guilty brother
But do not lie in waste, those that tried
She’ll remember you, in you She’ll confide
And perhaps spare your life, if yours is not one of selfish pride
With man a Titan, and Earth a god
The clash inevitable, the war almighty
An age-old battle, a Titanomachy.
