Nowadays we are living in a very technical world.
One of the most used things what is found in a lot of homes is the computer.
Consider some things when buying a computer particular from the INTERNET:
1. Do you really need a computer?
- Why buying a computer if you dont need one, it would be a waste of money.
2. What are you going to need it for (The computer parts)?
A computer is build out of parts. each part is used for a particular job of the computer and make use it fits your taste of how you are going to use the computer.
- Computer case.
The computer case is the outside of the computer. It protects the parts inside of the computer from the "outside" (Dust, water, touching of people) There are a lot of different computer cases also called towers. There are a lot different cases/towers. Differing of their size, looks and even lights.
- Motherboard.
This part actually is the most important part of the computer. Its the central place when the other boards of the computer get connected to each other. A big motherboard means you are able a connect a lot of parts on it, but remember you will need a big computer case/tower.
- Videocard.
This part is used to dispay grapics to your monitor.
There are a lot of different card with their use. Cards special for video-editing, playing games or to watch tv.
- Soundcard.
The sound card is used for the sounds. There are normal soundcard and soundcards on wich you can connect a whole surround sound set.
- Processor.
The "hearth of the computer". Its used to process the data when the computer is running.
- Internal memory
This is the memory wich is used while you are busy on the computer. Running programs en data.
- Cooling(fans).
We are talking about electronic parts, these produce warmth. So its important to make sure your computer is getting enough cooling from ventilators wich are build in. There are (video)cards wich has a cooler on the card itself.
-Harddisk
Harddisks are founded in different sizes. This part of the computer is used to store data and applications on.
You have internal harddisks and external harddisks.
-CD/DVD-rom players.
These are used to play music CD's, DVD's or programs/data from the discs. You can also put (burn/write) data to a disk.
-Powerbox.
This part is used to "feed" the computer parts with power. If you have a lot of computerparts wich needs supply from power. You will need a powerbox with a high output voltage.
Above are the most important parts of a computer.
So when buying a computer make a plan for your self what you are going to use it for.
Buying a computer from the internet has a big chance that its cheaper then in a shop.
On the internet there are lots of website wich provides you the oppurtiny to build your own computer and do a price-check.
