Oh Jessica, won't you write me one more bit of prose?
I don't mean to impose, but you paint those words so well.
I desire to one day be much like you, so I must suppose
That we can meet one day and things will go swell.
My biggest dream would be to write a line or two with you.
No, I don't have a crush on you, but I respect you greatly
And I want to write as well as you do one day too,
But the words just haven't been coming to me lately,
So I thought I'd try my luck by writing this page right here.
As you can see, you are the subject and my joy is obvious.
I no longer find the need to think about my writing fear
Because to the greatness of the written word I am no longer oblivious.
Jessica, my favorite poetic mind in the entire world, won't you see this one day?
Hope, if I may, and I will - we are both poets in this world now.
And I'd like to be so bold as to suggest if I may:
On the grandest stage, the poetic stage, might we together take a bow?
